Bumpers - Front Bumper Cover Fiesta 2002.25 (11/2001-)
Removal and Installation

Drill bit 5 mm
Electric hand drill
Blind rivet gun-hand

Removal

All vehicles

  1. Remove the radiator grille.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to: (100-02 Jacking and Lifting)

  1. Detach the fender splash shield from the bumper cover on both sides.

  1. Detach the bumper cover from the fender on both sides.

  1. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors (if equipped).

  1. Remove the bumper cover.
Vehicles built up to 08/2005

  1. Using a suitable screwdriver, remove the retaining clips.

  1. Remove the air deflector.
    • Detach the clips.
Vehicles built 08/2005 onwards

  1. Remove the air deflector (left-hand side shown).
    1. Remove the screws.
    1. Detach the clips.

Installation

Vehicles built 08/2005 onwards

  1. Install the air deflector (left-hand side shown).
    1. Attach the clips.
    1. Install the screws.
Vehicles built up to 08/2005

  1. Install the air deflector.
    • Attach the clips.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Use the clips supplied with the installation kit.
    Install the retaining clips.

  1. Using a suitable electric hand drill and a drill bit 5 mm, drill the holes through the bumper cover and the air deflector as shown.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure the rivets are installed from below.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Use the rivets supplied with the installation kit.
    Using a suitable blind rivet gun-hand, install the rivets.
All vehicles

  1. Install the bumper cover.

  1. Connect the fog lamp electrical connectors (if equipped).

  1. Attach the bumper cover to the fender on both sides.

  1. Attach the fender splash shield to the bumper cover on both sides.
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Install the radiator grille.
