Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair
Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud
Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) assembly.
3. If equipped, detach the block heater electrical harness retainers from the cooling fan motor electrical harness.
4. Disconnect the cooling fan motor electrical connector.

Detach the 9 wiring harness retainers from the shroud.
5. Detach the upper radiator hose from the cooling fan motor and shroud.
6. Remove the 2 bolts and the cooling fan motor and shroud.

To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
