Flex AWD V6-3.5L (2009)
Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury or death in the event of an accidental deployment.
Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
7. Remove the driver air bag module. Refer to Driver Air Bag Module See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Driver
Air Bag Module.
8. Through the glove compartment opening, disconnect the 2 passenger air bag module electrical connectors.
9. NOTE: Passenger side shown, driver similar.
Under the passenger seat, slide and disengage the side air bag module electrical connector locking clip, release the tab and disconnect the electrical
connector.
10. Under the driver seat, slide and disengage the side air bag module electrical connector locking clip, release the tab and disconnect the electrical
connector.
11. Detach and position aside the driver side D-pillar trim panel.
12. NOTE: LH side shown, RH similar.
Disconnect the LH side safety canopy module electrical connector.
13. Detach and position aside the RH side D-pillar trim panel.
14. Disconnect the RH side safety canopy module electrical connector.
15. Install the RCM fuse 32 (10A) to the SJB.
16. Connect the battery ground cable.
Reactivation
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the RCM fuse 32 (10A) from the SJB.
3. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute.
