Ford Focus workshop manuals
Ford Focus at a glance: 9 manuals, covering 2000 to 2009 models, with engines from 2.0 to 2.3 litres.
About the Focus
The Focus was Ford's "world car" of the late 1990s, launched in Europe in 1998 and in North America for the 2000 model year, where it replaced the Escort. These are the North American cars, which were built as the ZX3 three-door, the ZX5 five-door from 2002, a sedan (including the sporty ZTS) and a wagon. North America kept the first-generation design until 2007, then got a restyled coupe and sedan for 2008 rather than Europe's all-new Focus.
What these manuals cover
- 2000–2006: the 2.0-litre SOHC "SPI" engine and the 2.0-litre Zetec DOHC, later replaced by a 2.0 Duratec, plus the 2.3-litre Duratec, sold nationwide from 2004.
- 2009: the restyled North American Focus, which kept only the 2.0-litre Duratec engine.
Tip: European Focus models use different engines, so for those see Focus (UK/EU).
