Seat Backrest Latch - Rear

1. Remove the seat backrest cover. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest Cover - Rear See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Rear Seats.
2. Release the retainer and detach the release cable from the backrest frame.

Route the release strap through the hole in the foam pad.
3. Remove the 2 nuts and backrest latch.

To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
