2. Detach the gearshift and selector cables by pushing the abutment collar forward.
12. Cut the insulation and fold it to one side.
13. Remove the 2 cable bracket nuts and detach the cable bracket from the floor.

To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
14. Remove the gearshift cable assembly.

Pull the cables through into the interior.
15. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

An audible click will be heard when the gearshift cables are correctly seated in the retaining bracket.

Using duct tape, cover the cut in the insulation.

Adjust the gearshift and selector cables.
