1.

Position the seat into the vehicle.

2.

Install the rear retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft).

3.

Install the seat track rear outer trim cover.

4.

Move the seat to its full rearward position and install the front retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts to 38 Nm (28 lb-ft).

5.

Install the seat track front outer trim cover.

6.

Connect the underseat electrical connector.

7.

Repeat the repair procedure for the other seat.

8.

Make sure all SRS components are connected.

9.

Turn the ignition switch from OFF to ON.

10.

Install the RCM fuse F2.60 into the CJB and install the cover.

11.

Connect the battery negative cable.

12.

Turn the ignition switch from ON to OFF, wait 10 seconds and turn the ignition switch to ON.

13.

Visually monitor the air bag indicator. The indicator should light continuously for six (6) seconds and then turn off.

14.

If the air bag indicator remains lit, fails to light or flashes, there is a fault present in the SRS.

15.

Clear all continuous DTCs from the restraints control module (RCM) using a diagnostic tool.
