General Information - Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Health and Safety Precautions Focus 2004.75 (07/2004-)
Description and Operation

WARNING:
WARNING:Undeployed pyrotechnic supplemental restraint system (SRS) components must not be deployed in the vehicle.
WARNING:
WARNING:Never carry out any electrical measurement on disconnected, undeployed supplemental restraint system (SRS) pyrotechnic components.
WARNING:
WARNING:Pyrotechnic components must not be disassembled.
WARNING:
WARNING:Pyrotechnic components are not interchangeable between vehicles.
WARNING:
WARNING:Always carry a live air bag module away from the body with the air bag or trim cover pointing upwards.
WARNING:
WARNING:Live air bag modules must be placed in a suitable cage when removed from the vehicle. The air bag or trim cover must be facing upwards.
CAUTION:
CAUTION:Supplemental restraint system (SRS) components must not be subjected to temperatures higher than 110°C.
CAUTION:
CAUTION:Never install aftermarket accessories to the vehicle on or adjacent to the supplemental restraint system (SRS) module.
