    • Clean and check all parts carefully before reassembly.

    1. NOTE:
      NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.
    1. Torque: 22 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure the output shaft roller bearing is installed with the scribed text uppermost.
    Special Tool(s): 308-041

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that new snap rings are installed.

  1. Special Tool(s): 205-075

  1. Material: Sealant - Loctite 518

  1. Torque: 22 Nm

  1. Torque:
    Stage 1:
    12 Nm
    Stage 2:
    17 Nm
  1. Remove the transaxle from the mounting stand.

  1. The transaxle housing must not contact the press table. Only support on the input shaft.
    Special Tool(s): 308-045
    General Equipment: Hydraulic press
  1. Mount the transaxle on the mounting stand.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new snap ring is installed.
    Special Tool(s): 308-076

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the selector shaft is in the neutral position.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new main locking device is installed.
    Torque: 25 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new retaining pin is installed.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new snap ring is installed.
    Apply sealant centrally to the mating face of the transmission and through the inside of the threaded bores.
    Material: Silicone Sealant

  1. Torque: 12 Nm

  1. Torque: 20 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new snap ring is installed.

  1. Special Tool(s): 308-039

  1. Special Tool(s): 308-039

  1. Torque: 5 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Use adhesive tape to cover the input shaft splines to prevent damage to the input shaft seal.
    Special Tool(s): 308-643
  1. Remove the adhesive tape from the input shaft splines.

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. Remove the Special Tool(s): 205-329, 303-435, 303-435-06
