Removal and Installation

Removal

WARNING:
WARNING:Do not bend or kink the gearshift cables.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
    Remove the air cleaner.
    Refer to: Air Cleaner - Vehicles With: PCM Security Shield (303-12B Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 2.5L Duratec-ST (VI5), Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the center console.
    Refer to: Mittelkonsole (501-12, Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. Torque: 9 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Adjust the selector cable.
