Remove the charge air cooler intake pipe retaining bolt. | | | -
Detach the charge air cooler intake pipe from the transaxle. - Loosen the charge air cooler intake pipe retaining clamp.
- Remove the charge air cooler intake pipe retaining bolt.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 2 - Catalytic converter to exhaust flexible pipe retaining nuts 6 - Turbocharger outlet hose 7 - Charge air cooler intake pipe 8 - Catalytic converter heat shield 10 - Catalytic converter heat shield bracket upper retaining bolt 12 - Catalytic converter heat shield bracket 6. Install the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 8 - Catalytic converter to exhaust flexible pipe retaining nuts 10 - Catalytic converter heat shield bracket 11 - Catalytic converter heat shield bracket upper retaining bolt 13 - Catalytic converter heat shield 14 - Catalytic converter heat shield retaining bolts 15 - Charge air cooler intake pipe 16 - Turbocharger outlet hose | | -
Attach the charge air cooler intake pipe to the transaxle. - Tighten the charge air cooler intake pipe retaining clamp.
- Install the charge air cooler intake pipe retaining bolt.

With the aid of another technician, remove the catalytic converter. - Remove the catalytic converter support bracket to engine bracket retaining bolts.
