NOTE:
The final tightening of the suspension must be carried out at the design height setting.
Remove the springs. For additional information, refer to Section
204-02 Rear Suspension
.
Detach the stabilizer bar from the rear lower arm.
Fabricate a 20 mm wide by 102 mm long spacer.
Using a suitable wooden block and a suitable transmission jack, raise the suspension to the design height setting.
Position the wooden block and transmission jack as shown.
NOTE:
The spacer must be positioned exactly as illustrated.
Install the spacer.
Remove the bump stop.
Install the spacer between the rear lower arm and the crossmember making sure the spacer is in a vertical plane.
