Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the tie - rod end.
    For additional information, refer to Tie-Rod End in this section.

  1. Remove the boot.
    1. Remove the clamps.
    1. Disconnect the breather pipe (if equipped).
    1. Remove the boot.

Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure the tie - rod is clean before installing the boot.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Install the boot using new clamps.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
