Sunroof / Moonroof Windguard: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the roof opening panel glass.
2. Wind the roof opening panel mechanism to the rear.
CAUTION: Do not allow the glass panel guides to disengage the guide rails.
3. Remove the cover panel.

Remove the 16 screws.
4. Remove the roof opening panel shield.

Slide the roof opening panel shield out of the guide rails.
CAUTION:

Cover the cables to prevent the ingress of dirt.
^
Do not move the cables or mechanism.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Adjust the roof opening panel glass.
