ISSUE
Some 2006 Fusion/Milan vehicles built before 12/9/2005, equipped with a 2.3L engine and automatic transmission, may exhibit a tip-in hesitation within
the first 30 seconds after starting. The concern may occur when coolant temperatures are between 50 and 100°F (10 and 38°C).

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release B40.7 and higher or B41.1 and higher. This new
calibration is not included in the B41 CD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
