Trolley jack

Removal

  1. Remove the battery. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Remove the engine undershield (two nuts and four bolts).
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Disconnect the engine wiring harness and the engine engine coolant level sensor electrical connectors.

  1. Disconnect the battery positive cable from the battery terminal clamp.

  1. Remove the battery side cover.
    1. Detach the hose from the battery side cover.
    1. Disconnect and detach the electrical connector.

  1. Remove the battery tray.
    1. Detach the wiring harness rail.
    1. Detach the coolant hose from the battery tray.
  1. Using a trolley jack and a suitable wooden block support the transaxle.

  1. Remove the engine and transaxle rear mount.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    1. Remove and discard the bolts and the nut.

Installation

  1. Install the engine and transaxle rear mount.
    1. Tighten the bolt.
    1. Install new engine rear mount bolts and nut. Tighten the bolts and nut in two stages.
    • Stage 1: 90 Nm
    • Stage 2: 90 degrees
    1. Install new engine rear mount bolts. Tighten the bolts in two stages.
    • Stage 1: 50 Nm
    • Stage 2: 90 degrees

  1. Install the battery tray.
    1. Attach the wiring harness rail.
    1. Attach the coolant hose to the battery tray.

  1. Install the battery side cover.
    1. Attach the hose to the battery side cover.
    1. Attach and connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector.

  1. Connect the battery positive cable to the battery terminal clamp.

  1. Connect the engine wiring harness and the engine engine coolant level sensor electrical connectors.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Install the engine undershield (two nuts and four bolts).
  1. Lower the vehicle.
  1. Install the battery. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.
