Removal and Installation

Removal

CAUTION:
CAUTION:Remove the rear lamp assembly bezel carefully to prevent any damage
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Use a pad under the screwdriver to prevent damage to the rear bumper and the rear lamp assembly.
    Detach the rear lamp assembly bezel.
    1. Release the retaining tabs.
    1. Pull the rear lamp assembly bezel from the retaining lip.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Use a pad under the screwdriver to prevent damage to the rear bumper cover and the rear lamp assembly.
    Remove the rear lamp assembly bezel.
    1. Release the retaining tabs.
    1. Pull the rear lamp assembly bezel from the guide rail.

  1. Release the clip.

  1. Remove the retaining screw.
    • Remove the rear bumper upper bracket.

  1. Remove the side trim panel and the loadspace lamp.
    • Disconnect the loadspace lamp electrical connector.

  1. Remove the rear lamp assembly from body.
    • Disconnect the rear lamp assembly electrical connector.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
