Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the front bumper. For additional information, refer to Section  501-19 Bumpers.
  1. Remove the headlamp assembly. For additional information, refer to Section  417-01 Exterior Lighting.

  1. Remove the front bumper mounting bracket.
    1. Remove the clips.
    1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Remove the fender lower retaining bolt.

  1. Remove the fender splash shield lower retaining bolt.

  1. Remove the fender splash shield front retaining bolts.

  1. Remove the fender splash shield.
    • Remove the rear bolts.

  1. Remove the fender lower retaining bolts.

  1. Remove the carbon canister.
    1. Detach the hoses.
    1. Remove the nuts.

  1. Remove the fender inner retaining bolt and disconnect the return signal electrical connector.

  1. Remove the fender upper retaining bolts.
  1. Using a suitable knife, cut the adhesive on the A-pillar.

  1. Detach the windshield side trim panel from the fender.

  1. Remove the fender bolts.
    • Remove the bolts.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Apply suitable adhesive between the fender and the A-pillar.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
