Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Remove the A-pillar trim panels.
    For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.
  1. Remove the B-pillar trim panels.
    For additional information, refer to B-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.
  1. Remove the C-pillar trim panels.
    For additional information, refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.
  1. Remove the D-pillar trim panels.
    For additional information, refer to D-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.

  1. Detach the interior lamp.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the interior lamp.

  1. Remove the headliner retaining screws.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the rear interior lamp.

  1. Remove the passenger assist handles.
    • Lever open the covers to expose the bolts.

  1. Remove the sun visors.
    • Detach the sun visors from the retaining clips.
    • Remove the screws.

  1. Remove the sun visor retaining clips.
    • Detach the retaining clip covers.
    • Remove the screws.

  1. Remove the headliner rear retaining clips.

  1. Detach the liftgate opening weatherstrip.
Vehicles with roof opening panel
  1. Remove the roof opening panel weatherstrip.
Vehicles with auxiliary climate control
  1. Disconnect the temperature control switch electrical connectors.
Vehicles built 10/2001 onwards
  1. Detach the rear passenger compartment interior lamp.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the rear passenger compartment interior lamp.

  1. Remove the center rear safety belt upper trim panel.
All vehicles
  1. Detach the antenna retaining trim panel.

  1. Detach the front door opening weatherstrips.

  1. Detach the rear door opening weatherstrips.

  1. Remove the headliner.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
