Removal and Installation

General Equipment
Cord (3 meters in length)

Removal

  1. Remove the headliner. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. Detach the rear drain hose from the roof opening panel.
  1. Remove the D-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.
  1. Remove the loadspace trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. Detach the auxiliary heater core housing from the rear fender.

  1. Detach the rear drain hose from the retaining clip.
  1. Remove the rear drain hose bung.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Attach a suitable length of cord to the rear drain hose, and secure the free end of the cord to the vehicle.
    Remove the rear drain hose.
    • Pull the rear drain hose through the D-pillar.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Attach the cord to the rear drain hose.
    Install the rear drain hose.
    • Pull the cord and rear drain hose through the D-pillar.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Trim the rear drain hose to the required length.
    Install the rear drain hose bung.

  1. Attach the rear drain hose to the retaining clip.

  1. Attach the auxiliary heater core housing to the rear fender.
  1. Install the loadspace trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.
  1. Install the D-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. Attach the rear drain hose to the roof opening panel.
  1. Install the headliner. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.
