Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Detach the bumper cover from the underside of the grille opening reinforcement panel.
    • Remove the screws.

  1. Detach the wheelhouse liners from the bumper cover.
    • Remove the screws (3 each side).
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Detach the radiator grille from the grille opening reinforcement panel.
    • Remove the screws

  1. Detach the bumper cover.
    • Pull the bumper cover forwards.

  1. Disconnect the external temperature sensor electrical connector.

  1. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors, one each side (if equipped).

  1. Disconnect the parking sensor electrical connector (if equipped).

  1. Disconnect the headlamp washer hose from the headlamp washer pump (if equipped).
    • Remove the clip.

  1. Remove the bumper cover.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
