Removal and Installation Transmission Jack Brake Hose Clamp Removal CAUTION:If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water. | -
Remove the springs. For additional information, refer to Spring in this section. | | -
CAUTION:Cap the brake tube to prevent fluid loss and dirt ingress. Disconnect the brake hose from the brake tube. - Disconnect the brake tube union.
- Remove the brake hose retaining clips.

Disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor electrical connectors. | | -
Loosen the parking brake cable adjustment nut. - Loosen the adjustment nut until the levers on the brake caliper return to their stops.

Detach the rear parking brake cables from the equalizer. - Detach the rear parking brake cables from the equalizer.
- Detach the rear parking brake cables from the brackets.

Detach the stabilizer bar from both trailing arms. | | -
Detach the headlamp levelling sensor connecting link from the trailing arm (if equipped). | | -
Remove the trailing arms. | | -
WARNING:When supporting the rear crossmember with a suitable transmission jack, make sure the rear crossmember is secured to the transmission jack using a vehicle retention strap to prevent tilting. Failure to follow this instruction may result in person injury. | | -
Remove the rear axle roll restrictor retaining bolt. | | -
Remove the rear crossmember. | Installation | -
