Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Loosen the wheel nuts.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.
  1. Remove the wheel.

  1. Detach the parking brake cable and conduit.
    1. Detach the cable from the caliper.
    1. Detach the conduit.
    • Release the clip

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Secure the caliper out of the way to prevent damage to the flexible hose.
    Detach the brake caliper assembly.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    1. Detach the caliper assembly.

  1. Remove the brake disc.
    1. Remove the clips (if equipped).
    1. Remove the disc.

  1. Remove the hub assembly.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. Adjust the handbrake.
