Removal and Installation

Removal

WARNING:
WARNING:Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  1. Remove the coil. For additional information, refer to Section  303-07A Engine Ignition / 303-07B Engine Ignition.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. Disconnect the vapour pipes.

  1. Detach the sensor.

  1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe.

Installation

  1. WARNING:

    Install the components in reverse order.
