Removal and Installation
Removal
WARNING:Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Remove the intake plenum bolts.
Disconnect the air cleaner outlet tube.
Lift the plenum from the vehicle and disconnect the vacuum pipe.
Disconnect the throttle position sensor electrical connector.
CAUTION:Do not rotate the sensor past its normal operating limits.
Remove the throttle position sensor.
