Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Standard preparatory measures
    • Make a note of the radio keycode.
      CAUTION:
      CAUTION:Disconnect the battery ground lead.
    • Make a note of the preset radio stations.
  1. Remove the instrument panel bezel (see section 413-01).

  1. Loosen the screws on the auxiliary warning system module.

  1. Remove the auxiliary warning system module and module connector.

  1. Squeeze all four catches on the module.

  1. Remove the module cover

  1. Pull off the faulty bulb.

Installation

  1. Re - assemble the components in reverse order.
  1. Standard finishing operations.
    • Connect the battery ground lead.
    • Check the functions of the auxiliary warning system module.
    • Set the clock.
    • Enter the radio keycode.
    • Reprogramme the preset radio stations
    • Carry out a road test to enable the PCM collect data.
