Exterior Lighting - Headlamp Leveling Motor Mondeo 1997 (08/1996-09/2000)
Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the headlamp as described in Operation Number 32 >115 0.
    For additional information, refer to Headlamps in this section.

  1. Remove the cover from the back of the headlamp.

  1. Remove the headlamp levelling motor.
    • Disconnect the plug from the headlamp levelling motor.
    • Unclip or unscrew the headlamp levelling motor.
    • Unhook the adjusting lever.

Installation
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The adjusting lever must engage.
    Fit the headlamp levelling motor.
    • Clip in or bolt on the headlamp levelling motor.
    • Hook in the adjustment lever.
  1. Refit the remaining components in reverse order.
  1. Fit the headlamp assembly as described in Operation No. 32 115 0.
  1. Check the operation of the headlamp levelling motor.
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Set the headlamp levelling switch to the "0" position.
    Check the headlamp alignment and adjust as necessary (as described in General Procedures, Operation No. 32 113 0).
