Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to Section  303-01A Engine / 303-01B Engine / 303-01C Engine / 303-01D Engine / 303-01E Engine.

Using a suitable lint free material cover the intake ports of each cylinder to prevent debris entering the engine.

3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s).
