Remove the lower fascia/crash padding trim. - Remove the screws.
- Detach the clip.

Detach the clutch pedal switch. | | -
Remove the clutch pedal return spring bracket. - Remove the clutch slave cylinder retaining bolts.

Detach the strut mount cap. | | -
Remove the strut mount reinforcement bracket. | | -
CAUTION:The brake fluid reservoir cap must not become contaminated. Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap. | | -
CAUTION:If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water. Using a suitable syringe, remove brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir until the brake fluid level is at the MIN mark. - Install the brake fluid reservoir cap.

CAUTION:If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water. NOTE:Close off the clutch master cylinder feed pipe to prevent fluid loss or dirt ingress. Detach the clutch master cylinder feed pipe from the brake fluid reservoir. | | -
CAUTION:If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water. NOTE:Close off the clutch slave cylinder high-pressure pipe to prevent fluid loss or dirt ingress. Detach the slave cylinder high-pressure pipe from the clutch master cylinder. | | -
Remove the clutch pedal together with the clutch master cylinder. | | -
Remove the clutch master cylinder. | Installation NOTE:Renew the strut cover nuts. | -
Install the components in the reverse order. | | -
