Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the audio unit. For additional information, refer to Section  415-01A Audio Unit.

  1. Remove the dashboard console center screws (right-hand side shown).

  1. Remove the gear lever gaiter from the center console.

  1. Remove the dashboard console lower screws.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Support the screwdriver on suitable padding to avoid damaging the dashboard console.
    Detach the switches from the dashboard console.

  1. Remove the switches.
    • Detach the connectors.

  1. Remove the dashboard console upper screws.
    • Pull out the dashboard console.

  1. Detach the clock connector.

  1. Detach the boot lid release switch or tailgate release switch.

  1. Detach the heated front seat switch connector.

  1. Detach the climate control assembly connector.

  1. Remove the climate control assembly.

Installation

  1. Install the components in the reverse order.
