Removal and Installation

Removal

Left-hand drive vehicles
  1. Remove the bottom footwell trim (5 clips).

  1. Detach the opening damper from the glove compartment.
    1. Open the glove compartment to gain access to the opening damper.
    1. Slide the upper part of the opening damper away from the glove compartment.

  1. Remove the glove compartment.
    1. Press the sides towards the centre to release the glove compartment.
    1. Pull the glove compartment out of the hinges.
All vehicles
  1. Pull off the GEM connector.

  1. Remove the GEM.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Initialise the GEM with WDS after installation.
    Install the components in reverse order.
