Removal and Installation

Special Tool(s)
100-010
Remover, O-Ring Seal
Materials

Engine Oil - 5W-30

Silicone Sealant
WSE-M4G323-A4

Removal

  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01G Engine - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Fuel Injectors (303-04F Fuel Charging and Controls - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Fuel Pump (303-04F Fuel Charging and Controls - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Camshaft Seal (303-01G Engine - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).

  1. Install the Special Tool(s): 100-010

  1. Material: Engine Oil - 5W-30

Installation
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The component must be installed within 5 minutes of applying the sealant.
    Apply a 3 mm bead of sealant to the cylinder head.
    Material: Silicone Sealant

  1. Torque:
    Stage 1:
    5 Nm
    Stage 2:
    10 Nm

  1. Remove the Special Tool(s): 100-010
    Torque: 6 Nm

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. Torque: 25 Nm
  1. Install the following items:
    1. Refer to: Camshaft Seal (303-01G Engine - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Fuel Pump (303-04F Fuel Charging and Controls - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Fuel Injectors (303-04F Fuel Charging and Controls - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Intake Manifold (303-01G Engine - 2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, Removal and Installation).
