Removal and Installation

General Equipment
Cable ties

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding (303-03 Engine Cooling - 2.5L Duratec-ST (VI5), General Procedures).
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Refer to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud (303-03 Engine Cooling - 2.5L Duratec-ST (VI5), Removal and Installation).
    1. Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (303-12 Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 2.5L Duratec-ST (VI5), Removal and Installation).

  1. General Equipment: Cable ties

  1. Torque: 5 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:This step requires the aid of another technician.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Radiator are to be reused unless damaged.
    Remove the cable ties.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that no components catch when installing the radiator.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
