Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01, General Procedures).

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.

    CAUTION:Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.
    1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.
  1. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding (303-03 Engine Cooling - 2.5L Duratec-ST (VI5), General Procedures).
  1. Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH (205-04, Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 20 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.
    Torque: 4 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.
    Torque: 4 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Note the position of the spring washers to aid installation.
    Torque: 10 Nm

  1. Torque: 30 Nm

  1. Torque: 26 Nm

    1. Torque: 20 Nm

  1. Torque: 12 Nm

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Refer to: Door Window Motor Initialization (501-11, General Procedures).
