Removal and Installation

General Equipment
Hose clamp remover/installer

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Drain the cooling system.
    Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding (303-03E Engine Cooling - 2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (DW) Diesel, General Procedures).

  1. General Equipment: Hose clamp remover/installer

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.
    NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.
    Torque:
    1 10 Nm
    2 10 Nm
    3 8 Nm

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that new components are installed.
    1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:This step is not necessary when installing a new component.
    Install a new gasket.
    Torque: 10 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    1. Torque: 8 Nm
    1. Torque: 10 Nm
