Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Refer to: Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

  1. Turn the engine to top dead center (TDC).
  1. Refer to: Air Cleaner (303-12 Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 2.5L Duratec-ST (VI5), Removal and Installation).

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that the inside of the pipe ends are clean and free of oil residue.

    1. Torque: 10 Nm
    1. Torque: 4 Nm
    1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure that the sensor housing is clean and free of foreign material.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
