Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the catalytic converter.

Refer to: Catalytic Converter (309-00C, Removal and Installation).

NOTE:Note the position of the component before removal.
1. Discard the nut.
  
  Torque: 18 Nm
1. Torque: 23 Nm
1. Torque: 20 Nm

Installation

CAUTION:A new component may be supplied with a longer cable than the one removed. Make sure that the cable cannot be damaged or cause a noise, vibration or harshness (NVH) concern.

NOTE:Make sure that the sensor is installed in the same location as when removed.

NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
