Removal and Installation

General Equipment
Audio unit removal tools
Flat-bladed screwdriver

Removal

  1. Remove the left and right-hand A-pillar trim.
    Refer to: A-Säulenverkleidung (501-05, Removal and Installation).
Vehicle with rear multimedia system
  1. Refer to: Digital Versatile Disc-Laufwerk (415-01, Removal and Installation).
Vehicles with glove compartment cooling

All vehicles

  1.  
    • On both sides.

Vehicles equipped with touchscreen DVD navigation system

  1. General Equipment: Audio unit removal tools
All vehicles

  1.  
    1. Torque: 9 Nm
    1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. Move dashboard back until the electric booster heater is accessible.

Installation

  1. Install all components in reverse order.
