Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. General Equipment: Flat-bladed screwdriver
Vehicles without navigation system

Vehicles with Travel Pilot EX
  1. Refer to: Navigation System Display Module - Vehicles With: Travel Pilot EX (415-01, Removal and Installation).

All vehicles

Vehicles with cordless cellular phone
Vehicles with rear passenger entertainment system

Vehicles with glove compartment cooling

All vehicles

  1. Torque: 10 Nm

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:The component must only be removed by pushing from behind.
    Release the clips and at the same time push on the back of the air bag module.

    NOTE:Note the position of the component before removal.

Installation

    NOTE:Make sure that this component is installed to the noted removal position.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
