Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then clear path to hydraulic control unit, located at bottom of righthand side of radiator.
2. Disconnect two hydraulic control unit wiring harnesses.

3. Disconnect five brake tubes, then remove hydraulic control unit ground wire.
4. Remove four control unit bolts, then the control unit.
5. Remove three nuts and mounting bracket from control unit.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
7. Torque mounting bracket to control unit nuts to 7-14 ft lb.
8. Torque control unit bottom bolts to 7-10 ft lb, then the upper bolts to 13-19 in lb.
9. Perform system brake bleeding procedures.
