2. Loosen the screw holding the fender brace to the radiator support. This is best done with the car on a hoist, Figure 2.
3. Pull the lower front of the fender outward as far as possible. Tighten the screw holding the fender to the radiator support to 6-11 lb.ft. (8-15 N-m).
4. Tighten the three screws attaching the top of the fender to 6-11 lb.ft. (8-15 N-m).

Continue with Steps 5 through 12 for GT models.
5. Remove the three screws holding the lower front extension to the fender flange, Figure 3. Do not remove the extension.
6. Pull the extension away from the fender. Inspect the extension for excess material at the lower screw attachment.
