Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then pull headlamp switch to full ON position.

2. Reaching through opening in instrument panel, depress shaft release button on headlamp switch and remove headlamp switch knob and shaft.
3. Remove cluster instrument panel finish panel as follows:  

a. Remove two screws above instrument cluster, then pull instrument panel finish panel to unsnap clip above lefthand register. 
b. Pull panel to unsnap three clips on righthand side vertical/horizontal edge, then remove panel. 

4. Remove headlamp switch nut and pull switch through opening in instrument cluster. 
5. Disconnect wiring to headlamp switch and remove headlamp switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
