Remove the front passenger-side safety belt upper and the lower anchor bolts. See Figure 3.

Remove the passenger-side B-pillar trim panel. See Figure 3.

Remove the safety belt web guide. See Figure 4.
7.
Remove the safety belt retractor retaining bolt, then remove the safety belt retractor. See Figure 4.
8.
Install the new safety belt retractor. Tighten the retaining bolt to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Install the safety belt web guide.
10.
Install the passenger-side B-pillar trim panel.
11.
Install the front passenger-side safety belt upper and the lower anchor bolts. Tighten the anchor bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

If rear seat safety belt retractor replacement is not required, proceed as follows:
