Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

Handle, Outside Door 

Removal

1. Remove front door trim panel (23942) and watershield.

2. Disconnect front door latch actuating rod (22152) from front door latch (21812).

3. Remove two retaining nuts and washers and remove door handle (22404) from door.

Installation

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.

2. Tighten nuts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb-in).
