Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect exhaust gas oxygen sensor electrical connector, then remove sensor from manifold.
2.
Remove turbocharger assembly, if applicable.
3.
Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold, then remove outer heat shield.
4.
Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, the exhaust manifold, inner heat shield and gaskets.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Tightening to specifications.
