Transmission Speed Sensor: Description and Operation
Turbine Speed Sensor

PURPOSE

The frequency from the turbine shaft speed sensor supplies the powertrain control module with turbine shaft speed information. 

This information is used in determining electronic pressure control pressure and torque converter engagement schedule.
