LEAKS - COOLANT - IMMERSION HEATER (BLOCK HEATER) - (2.8L) V-6 ENGINE

An engine coolant leak may be caused by an improperly torqued attaching bolt for the engine immersion heater (engine block heater). If the immersion
heater is leaking, the procedure listed below should be used.

The immersion heater is located in front of the right cylinder head. With the heating element wires in the inboard or "3 o'clock" position (Figure 15)
torque the heater element attaching bolt to 10-14 ft.lbs.
