Clutch Pedal Position Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1.

Disconnect electrical connector from switch located on clutch master cylinder push rod, Fig. 8.

2.

Pull orientation clip away from switch to separate pin, then rotate switch to expose plastic retainer.

3.

Push tabs together to allow retainer to slide rearward and separate from switch.

4.

Remove switch from push rod. 

INSTALLATION

1.

Install switch onto master cylinder push rod, ensuring that switch is properly seated.

2.

Install plastic retainer, then rotate switch into position and attach orientation clip.

3.

Connect electrical connector.
