Clutch Pedal Position Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE

The Clutch Pedal Position Switch closes with clutch pedal depressed.

It directs voltage and current to the starter motor/solenoid and powertrain control module.

Depressing the clutch pedal opens the switch and directs a signal to the speed control servo/amplifier assembly.
