Flex Plate: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the oil pan.
3. Remove the transmission.
4. Remove the clutch on manual transmission equipped vehicles.

5. Remove the bolts.
6. Remove the flywheel and flywheel reinforcement plate.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the flywheel and the flywheel reinforcement plate.
2. Inspect the oil pan.

3. Install the oil pan.
4. Install the clutch on manual transmission equipped vehicles.
5. Install the transmission.
6. Connect the battery ground cable.
